This Year’s Color of the Year Peach Fuzz

Duette® Cellular Shades

Since 1999, the Pantone Color Institute has a color of the year. The first named color was Cerulean Blue, and through the years, the color experts have named a variety of hues, including this year’s winner. And each year, that color pops up in everything from automotive products to interior design. At F&R Interiors, we’ve helped countless customers implement the color of the year in their homes, and if you like this year’s (or any other color, for that matter), we’ll be happy to help you too.

Peach Fuzz in 2024

We’ve certainly had some tumultuous times here in the United States and around the world over the past few years. In response, the Pantone Color Institute offers a “heartfelt peach hue bringing a feeling of kindness and tenderness, communicating a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration.” The color is a “gentle” peach with an “all-embracing spirit” that “enriches heart, mind, and body.”

Using Peach Fuzz 13-1023 in Your Home

This color can set the mood in any room, bringing a welcoming note guests will appreciate. You can add Peach Fuzz through bedding, tableware, and accessories such as throw pillows and blankets. Or you can add it in paint on an accent wall or in an entryway to convey a welcoming message. Warm, soft, and cozy, Peach Fuzz will bring depth and light to your home. You can find hints of or complements to Peach Fuzz in a variety of Hunter Douglas window fashions, including Silhouette® Sheer Shades, Pirouette® Sheer Shades, Designer Roller Shades, Modern Precious Metals® Blinds, and more. Or you can add custom side panels or drapery designed with the unique fabrics in the Hunter Douglas Design Studio.
